Technology Goals
Goal #1 – Effective Student
Use:
Students will use technology for a variety of purposes; project design,
electronic portfolios, global communication, and electronic research.
Goal #2 – Effective Teacher
Use:
Teachers will use technology for a variety of purposes: research lesson
plans on the Internet, global communication, evaluate electronic portfolios,
and use electronic grade books, lesson plan templates and design assignments.
Goal #3 Staff Development
The school will develop and implement ongoing professional training
so that teachers will integrate computer technology into the curriculum
that supports a strong literacy program.
Goal #4 Increased Access to Technology
The school will increase access to technology through
various curriculum means including the building of a
telecommunications network.
Goal #5 School funds used for
Technology
Yearly, a minimum of 5% of all school budgets will be used to purchase
hardware to increase the number of computers, printers, monitors,
scanners, digital cameras until all classrooms have at least five
computers.
