California History Powerpoint Presentation Students will research an aspect of California history, getting information from the Web and rewriting it in their own words and present it on a Powerpoint Presentation. All written work should be generated by the student and proper references should be made to where the information was acquired Directions: 1. Students choose an aspect of California History. Search for information from research materials such as library or text books, or from a website listed in 4th Grade Research Arena. 2. Students read the information, highlight key info and rewrite it in their own words in paragraph form. 3. Students take their completed work and re-type or paste from their own document onto multiple slides in PowerPoint. Discuss minimum amount of slides with your teacher. 4. Copy pictures from a website or scan from a book and paste to your slides. Also students may save a picture on the HD to use as a background. They should have at least one picture on each page that roughly matches the written content on that page. 5. The presentation should include the following:
